Welcome to my Web site!

Go check out the resume to get the job history.

Gina (Rissinger) Hale ('83) and I ('82) were married right out of Messiah College.  For four years, we traveled with SIM International, installing computers and rewriting an accounting package to handle multiple currencies and languages.

In 1986, we went to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  I studied for a year and earned the Bible Certificate.  Gina worked as a faculty secretary before our son and daughter were born.  We stayed there for three more years where I worked in the computer center, installing CARS, an administrative software package for colleges and universities.

In 1990, we moved the family to be near grandparents.  We ended up in the same town in which Gina grew up, about three miles from her parents.  Tom worked at CARS Information Systems, while Gina and the kids worked at the same school she had attended as a child--Milton-Union Elementary and Milton-Union Middle School.

Wanting to serve God back overseas before the kids entered high school, we left in July 2001 to serve with SIM at Bingham Academy, an international Christian school in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  We served as the boarding family (up to eight kids whose families were living and working outside the city stayed in our home at any given time) and I also served as the computer teacher for grades K-10.

After finishing three years of the two we signed up for, we returned to the States and now live in Carlisle, PA.  Both Gina and I work at Messiah College.
