We spent about two weeks in Mahadaga observing classes, playing with children, hiking, participating in the local church, and helping the missionaries with projects they had for us.

Fellowship time after church is difficult if you don't speak Gorma or French. However, there is still a bond among children of God.

The pastor of the local church was a very happy man.

We loved the children.

Matt showed us the solar power center. 18 pannels power the whole compound. Pretty impressive.

The compound to the right of these girls is the health center where people come when they are sick (or ready to have a baby).
Behind the SIM compound in Mahadaga is a ridge that makes a great place to hike and spend some alone time.

We went hiking to a cliff area and of course, as usual, we had many followers.

Wherever there is a tree, boys will climb.
We spent most of our time at the Handicap Center observing math classes and working with the teachers in helping students understand mathematics.

The sign before the handicap center.

Some of the younger students at the center.

Mix of cultures.

A collaboratory hand-powered tricycle in use - however, you may notice that the chain is non-existent. It needed to be repaired.

There was an open room with blackboards that the students could use.

A graduate of the handicap center that continues to help as well as make leather goods.

Students loved spending time together.
