My name is Rachel and I just completed Mission Year in Atlanta, Georgia. I am 21 years old and was born and raised in
New Jersey. While in Atlanta, GA I volunteered at a homeless shelter for women and children. In the afternoons I worked
at an afterschool program called Bright Futures Atlanta. Mission Year was an extremely challenging year, but I learned a lot.
I have now returned to Messiah College, to complete school. I heard about Mission Year through Tony Campolo at a conference
called Jubilee.

Whitney is 20 years old and was the youngest member of our team. She lives in Nebraska on a farm and has not yet
attended college. She did however, take a year long intensive Spanish course and is now fluent. While in Atlanta,
Whitney worked at an International Clinic for individuals without insurance. In the afternoons she played basketball
with youth from the area at the Grove Park Recreation Center. She heard about Mission Year from surfing around on the web.

Candace is 22 years old and is from Indianapolis, IN. She enjoys singing and watching the Colts dominate in football.
Candace graduated from college with a degree in Psychology. While in Atlanta, GA she was able to work at a high school
in the yearbook and newspaper classroom. There she was able to interact with high school students. In the afternoons she too
worked at Grove Park Recreational Center. She is now living in a city in Ohio and hopes to conitnue working with high schoolers.

Jenny is 23 years old , from Ohio and was the team leader of our house. She graduated from a small Christian college with a degree in
Psychology. Jenny is most known for her smile and soft skin. While in Atlanta, Jenny worked at the Good Samaritan Health
Clinic which is a clinic that gives medical and dental services to people without insurance. In the afternoons she worked at
Bright Futures Atlanta.

Holly is from Illinois and recently graduated from a college there. She graduated with an accounting degree,
but has since decided to continue in the field of social work. While in Atlanta, she worked at the Good Samaritan
which focuses on getting homeless men and women back on their feet. Services include resume writing, job searching
and preparing for interviews. Holly also taught the Wednesday night Bible study for the kids in the area.

Faith is a spontaneous 21 year old, who like me, decided to take a year off from college. Born in North Carolina, she attended
college there for two year. While in Atlanta, Faith's passion focused on prostitution and homeless youth. She volunteered at several
jobs inlcluding a senior citizen home, a daycare center, a pregnancy crisis center, and Stand Up for Kids which helped homeless youth.
Faith has decided not to return to school and continues to live in Atlanta.

Amber is 23 years old and hails from St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from a small college in Illinois with a social work degree.
Amber has lived and volunteered in the inner city for over four years. Her passions lie in dealing with homeless men, women
and children. In Atlanta, she volunteered at Cafe 458 with the kitchen staff. Cafe 458 provides a hot breakfast and lunch for
homeless men and women with disabilities. Amber also participated in Stand Up For Kids.
