THE COACHES

The Messiah Field Hockey Team is coached by five coaches. The head coach is Coach Jan Trapp. She is assisted by Brooke Goode, Kathy Sassamen, Jen Jacobs, and Bonnie Kirk. Kathy Sassamen coaches the JV team. Jen Jacobs works with the goal keepers along with Bonnie Kirk. Bonnie also leads the team in devotions before games. The team is also blessed to have a GREAT trainer, known as Wendy Cheesman. During the 2005 season Wendy was assisted by two student trainers; Matt Westcott and Winsor McBeth. Mrs. Trapp's husband, George is also involved with the team, constantly cheering from the sidelines!
