Below are just a few faces that are very recognizable in the soccer world, both U.S. and Internationally known.
PELE
Pele has been labled as the "Soccer God". He is probably the single most famous soccer player to ever walk the earth. He was found by a recruit at the age of 11 and at the age of 17 Pele appeared for Brazil in his first official World Cup. In 1959 this soccer genious scored 127 goals and in 1961 he topped off at 110 goals for the season. In 1969 Pele scored the 1,000th goal of his career. This man is truly one of the best soccer players to ever walk the earth and will continue to be remembered for his magical touch on the ball.
DINO
Dino, the Italian wonder, this man made goalkeeping history when he recieved the world record of 1,142 minutes without being scored apon. Dino retired from the game in 1983 but continued to work as a goalkeeping coach of Juventus. This man retired for good in 2002, with many trophies from all of his many career wins.
MILLA
Roger Milla is a perfect example of a late bloomer. Roger did not even appear to be a threat until reaching 38 years of age.
This man single handedly helped to lead Cameroon to its first World Cup finals game. He is also the first African American to appear in 3 World Cup final rounds.
BECKHAM
David Beckham is the most popular football player to ever exsist. He is not only popular because of his amazing ball skill, but because of his amazing looks as well.
Beckham, who is married to former pop superstar, Victoria Beckham, or Posh Spice, plays for Real Madrid in today's soccer world. His dashing good looks, and finesse of the game earn him a spot on the "famous faces" wall.
