This course provides a foundation of skills and concepts that are necessary to design effective and compelling visual communication in the context of new and emerging digital technologies. Areas of exploration may include web design, linear and interactive-based online animations, design or screen-based multi-media presentations, and interface design for on-screen and hand-held devices. Prerequisite: Art 112 Intro to Graphic Design Prolem Solving, Art 237 Typography and Visual Communication, Art 236 Graphic Design and Visual Culture: Seeing, Thinking, Making or instructor's consent.
