Throughout high school, I was on the field hockey team. We were a very competative team and we won the PAC-10 Champsionship my sophomore year. For my junior and senior year, we reached the Championship game, but failed to win. We also made it to States my junior year which hasn't been done in 10 years for the field hockey program at our high school. In college, I am a part of the Messiah Club Field Hockey Team. This is our first year, and we plan on building onto the programs for years to come.
Although I like to play field hockey, I LOVE to play basketball. I played all throughout high school as well. Our program had its ups and downs, but it wasn't till my junior year when the program had hired new staff. Our coaches not only re awakened my love for the game, but have taught me so much. I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old, and want to keep playing for as long as I can!
As with field hockey and basketball, I also played softball throughout my high school years. I played second base and shortstop. It was my Dad who convinced me to try playing softball. At the time, I was playing lacrosse, but my Dad had told me to give it a try and I was hooked ever since. I played on a travel team for 2 years when I was in middle school, and that taught me to play on a competative level. I enjoyed softball not only as a sport, but socially as well. My best friend was on the team also and she is in the picture as well.
