Personal Significance
For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11.
Personally, this verse has meant so much to me over the past year. As I made the transition between high school and college I was overwhelmed with anxiety about the uncertainties of what college would be like. I had to learn to trust that if it was God's will for me to be here I would prosper and learn to trust that He holds my future.
The most wasted of all days is one without laughter. -E. E. Cummings
I love this quote because I really believe that when we do not use God's gift of laughter to help us ease the burdens and anxiety of this world than there is no way that we will ever know the fullness and peace we find in God. Laughter is amazing and I love being able to just sit down and laugh at anything, literally. As difficult as some days can be, make it a point to laugh each and everyday!
Happiness depends on happenings, joy depends on Jesus.

My Roommate Liz and I
I believe this quote is very true in our lives today as we sometimes feel that joy can be found in the things of the world when real and pure joy can only be found in Jesus.
God's time may not be my time, but He is always right on time -- Chris Hollman.

My Family and I
For me, I realy have to internalize this belief as I sometimes become weary of waiting for God in certain areas of my life. His timing is perfect and although I may think that I know the perfect time for everything only God does.
God will use every circumstance in your life to fulfill his eternal purpose for your life.
No matter good or bad times, I feel that God has a purpose for every situation and that He wants us to find the lessons and peace in every situation. In happy times, it is easy to feel blessed by God, but it's in the heartaches that we must search and trust God to show us what His purpose is.
