Welcome to my very own homepage! My name is Jennifer Clemens. I'm 25 and I am Post Baccalaureate Tercher Certification student at Messiah College. In 2005 I graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. I worked full time for over a year and I recently decided to persue a career in Family and Consumer Science. This is my second semester at Messiah and I plan on student teaching next spring. Family and Consumer Science incorporates coursework from a variety of disciplines including human development and family science, nutrituion and dietetics, art, early childhood education, and education. Family and Consumer Science Teachers provide practical knowledge about the things of everyday life- human development, personal behavior, housing and environment, food and nutrition, apparal and textiles, and resource management.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my fiance Nick and my dog Sharky. Nick and I are getting married on August 16, 2008 and we are very excited. My life has been stressful trying to plan a wedding while I am a full time student. Somehow I find the time. Our dog Sharky is going to be 1 in April. He is a Shih Poo, a Shih Tzu mixed with Miniature Poodle. I was so excited when I got my first dog but I never realized how much responsibility they actually are. I guess it's good practice for having children!
