Mr. Erikson is currently Chair of the Department of Engineering, School of Mathematics, Engineering, and Business and Assistant Professor of Engineering

Before coming to Messiah in 1989, Mr. Erikson was Vice-President
of Engineering for McCoy Electronics Company in Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
Previously, he had been employed in various engineering/managerial
positions with Whirlpool Corporation, Hazeltine Corporation, and
Andersen Laboratories.
Mr. Erikson obtained his BSEE degree from Rutgers University in
1969 and his MSEE degree from Purdue University in 1971. He has
authored many articles on microelectronics processing and components.
He has given numerous presentations to industry, colleges, professional
societies and civic organizations.
Since 1990 Mr. Erikson has been interested in and promoting the concept
of Appropriate Technology in the Third World as well as in urban areas
around the world. He has worked in Kenya, Bolivia, Venezuela, and Guatemala

 

Presently Mr. Erikson is Project Advisor for the Water for the World
