I have been employed by Messiah College since October 1997. During my employment, I have held the positions of Faculty Services Secretary, Word Processing Operator, Publishing Technician, and was promoted to Faculty Services Supervisor in December 2002. I truly enjoy my position working with Messiah's faculty. Our office can be found on the first floor of the Hoffman Building. My primary duties are managing the faculty services office, securing copyright permissions, coursepack creation, proofreading all typed or scanned documents that are completed in Faculty Services, producing monthly production reports, and creating personal web pages for faculty.
Prior work experience: Human Resources Coordinator for PNC Bank (14 years) as well as various positions in the insurance, medical, and legal fields.
Personal: My husband Ron is a United States Air Force veteran (Vietnam era) and is retired from Defense Distribution Region East in New Cumberland, PA. Ron and I are dog lovers. When our dogs Sam & Sully passed away it was heartbreaking -- Sam was a black lab mix (July 4, 1993 - April 10, 2009) and Sully was a mixed husky/spaniel (March 1, 1995 - March 30, 2008). Sam and Sully gave us so much love and happy memories. We miss them very much, but they will always be in our hearts. We rescued both dogs from the Humane Society. Rescuing dogs is a cause we strongly believe in and support. In May 2009 we adopted an 9-week old puppy named Lily. She is a mixed yellow lab/border collie. In April 2010, we rescued Gracie, a beagle/dachshund puppy, from Molly's Place Rescue. We are members of Fairview Bethel Church of God, New Cumberland, PA. I work part-time for my pastor as an administrative assistant and financial secretary for the church.
