It is true that men who have claimed to come out of
homosexuality have not. Given leadership prematurely in Christian
ex-gay ministries, they have abused their position of
power over their clients. This does not discredit ex-gay
ministry in general any more than the same thing
happening among professional psychologists discredits psychology.
