Homosexuality is a normal part of other cultures only if you include ritual acts between adult men and boys between the ages of seven and twelve. None of the studies ask three important counter-questions. Since the homosexuality is uniformly abandoned later in life, is it really the kind of homosexual "orientation" that gays want to talk about? Since the data gathered is by reporting rather than by participant-observation, are the data reliable? (Greenberg questions the data on this grounds.) And finally the moral question for Christians, Why would you be surprised that cultures that do not worship Jehovah do things that are not wholesome?
