  The two examples that Paul uses -- Jew or gentile, slave or free -- show that Paul is not thinking about sexuality ("circumcised" is a metonomy for Jewish). The question that the Corinthians asked him was about marriage, divorce, and remaining single. Paul clearly supports marriage as the proper expression of sexual passion (I Corinthians 7:7), and God's law as worthy of being kept. (verse 19)
