Paul uses the word "natural" to mean "for its intended
purpose." From your earlier question, I think that you
find gays as a category of people to have been unknown by Paul.
If he knows nothing about loving homosexual relationships,
how then does he restrict his discussion here in II Timothy 2:2
to those who behave homosexually but who personally prefer
heterosexuality?
I agree that gay Christians are lovers of God. Furthermore, they are loved by God. These pages discuss what obedience means when one is dealing with homosexuality.
I am aware that some pro-gay apologists like Greenberg are constructivist not essentialists when it comes to the term "gay." That is, they maintain, as I do, that in the nature - nurture debate, nurture is more important than nature. So then, throwing all questions into one pile is making pro-gay views seem to be inconsistent. It would be fairer to say that pro-gay views are multi-voiced.
