God arranged for Paul to be vague about his thorn in
the flesh so that each of us can apply the principle of
God's strength in whatever weakness is ours. If indeed
Bishop Spong were right about Paul being tempted
homosexually, then Paul's victorious cry of Romans 8
should be an encouragement: for those who do not
respond to the flesh there is no more condemnation.
