St. Paul says that men bedding with men keeps them out of God's kingdom. (I Corinthians 6:9-11) Grace properly understood teaches us to say no to passions that are not approved by God. (Titus 2:11-14) It may be that I am a legalist; it may be that you are an antinomian. But name-calling won't help our discussion. Mercy is not a rubber stamp; justice is not a leveling of distinctions. I believe that homosexuality hurts people. We warn people whom we love when we believe them to be in danger.
