Emily
has written several books, one on sexual abstinence before marriage, If
I'm Suppose To Wait, Why Do I Have Hormones Now?, now available also in Spanish;
one on being a friend, What Do I Say to a Friend Who's Gay?; one on devotionals
for dating couples, You, Me and Who? 5 Minute Devotionals for You and Your Date;
one on broken families; one on devotionals for woodworkers; and one on the incarnation of Christ.
She has written articles including an award-winning humor piece, many devotionals for
Secret Place and several chapters in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
Emily has been a panelist on Harrisburg, Penna., TV, on the topic of abstinence. She speaks to thousands of high schoolers and collegians every year. She has taught Bible, Anthropology, and Spanish II and III at Messiah College. |

Tim is a 1999 graduate in Computer Science from Messiah College, interested in graphics animation and programming for the blind & visually impaired. He is married to the former Elizabeth Connington. They live in Plano, Texas. Elizabeth earned her master's degree in library science, and works as a librarian. Tim works for Advantix Solutions in Richardson, Texas. Tim was home-schooled in 1992-1995, and was an exchange student in Costa Rica in 1995. |

| Prisca graduated in Mathematics from Messiah College in May 2003.
She earned varsity letters in volleyball and track from Mechanicsburg Area High School and Ithaca
High School. She holds the school record for women's triple jump at Ithaca
High School, Ithaca, NY. She was third in District competitions in triple
jump, Spring 1999. She reported on her project for her mathematics research course at Messiah College
at a mathematics conference at Millersville University, Spring 2002. Her research has since appeared in the
Journal of Recreational Mathematics.
In June 2003 she married Anthony DeRosa, a 2003 graduate of Messiah College in Engineering. Anthony's work in computer engineering is similar to the kind of work that he did for his senior honors project in Computer Science under Gene. Anthony and Prisca have one son, Josiah. |

John is a mathematics teacher at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, MD. He is engaged to Kelly Joy Kennedy of Redding, CA. John designs web pages and juggles. He juggled for Hershey Park in the summers of 2003 and 2005. John has been designer and webmaster for several web sites: PFOX, Emily's & Prisca's home pages, Capital Area Pregnancy Center, and the youth pages of Bethel Grove Bible Church and of West Shore Evangelical Free Church. John helped to design the site for Leathers & Associates, an architechture firm in Lansing, NY, where he interned. Leathers & Associates designs playgrounds world-wide. John was home schooled in 1997-1998. John contributed design work to the web pages of CrossWalk.com, and of Messiah College faculty. | ![]() |
