Comparison
to Original SRS:
Basically, the original SRS only
covered the first 7 functions
listed above, and only about one
fifth of the reports. We ended
up doing a lot more than what we
first thought. Several of the
additional functions were
necessities brought on when we
analyzed the system in greater
detail like the transitions from
Applicants to Employees in HR.
In addition, PFL kept asking for
more once they realized what we
were capable of creating. Thus,
the list of 10 or 11 use cases
ballooned into more like 25 when
including all of the reports and
such as separate functions. It
should also be mentioned that we
dropped the Supplier use cases
because it was not practical to
manage this data separately.
