Milestone Completion Summary for BIS 412 (Spring, 2004)

Milestone Number: Milestone 4 Increment 1

Team Name: Project Access Hope

Team Members (and Roles, including leader):

Phil Kelly – Web Site Manager, Correspondence Coordinator, Structural Model Designer

Dan Vickers – Behavior Model Designer, Documentation, QA, Increment Developer

Joe Shaugnessy – Team Leader, Lead Programmer, QA

Due Date: April 1, 2004

Summarize Results of Milestone:

In this milestone we developed our operations and made a dictionary for them. We completed the first increment according to the requirements we had set before. We have full CRUD functionality for our system. Joe spent a lot of time working on the system.

Strengths of Milestone:

We completed increment one and our system is in good shape. We are gaining more knowledge about Access and becoming more aware of useful functions we can implement.

Weaknesses of Milestone:

We realized there was a piece of functionality we had left out in our increments, so we added the income calculation feature to increment 3.

Project Status:

Yellow: Project has some risk of not being completed according to plan, but the risks faced by the project are well-known and we believe we have a plan to resolve the risks and successfully complete the project. After finishing the first increment with no big problems, we are optimistic about finishing it all, but we are also weary of the harder programming ahead of us.
