The Rastafari Movement quickly emerge from the coast of Jamaica through the sound of music. Bob Marley is the one that made Rastafari culture develop all around the world. His music invaded stores all across the planet, helping Rasta culture to be known to all.

Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, The Congos, The Rastafarians, Culture were also early rasta reggae musicians whose music expresses the Rastafari doctrine. This doctrine developped into the 1980's with artists such as Steel Pulse, Israel Vibration, Burning Spear, The Gladiators who all promote the Rastafari movement. Rastafari lives on through the 21st Century, and a new wave of reggae music appears, Roots Reggae, with artists such as Capleton, Sizzla, Luciano, Cocoa Tea, Gentleman and many others. Some of these artists become mainstream and stand at the head of the music charts, promoting Rastafari religion.
