DYNAMIC BRIDGE RESONANCE

This Video is the successor to "The Dynamic Response of a Suspension Bridge", the first place winner in the 1972 American Association of Physics Teachers Biannual Film Competition. The Video won First Place in the 1999 AAPT National Video Contest!!

The NEW video shows how to excite a suspension bridge in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th vertical harmonics with amplitudes of up to 3 ft. The Video includes torsional and horizontal harmonics with 2 to 24 students exciting the bridge.
