Do you have problems taking tests?

Especially in math or physics? Then, maybe these simple 5 instructions can help you out:

"New concepts take time to sink in..." -- Angela Hare
1. Study ahead -- it will be easier and you will learn more. Your unconscious mind will help solve some of the problems.
After much time studying, the concepts WILL sink in... and amazing things will happen!
2. Practice and prepare test-type problems -- those done in class and the assigned problems.

Your motor skills have memory. As you practice problems, you will be increasing your problem solving skills and speed. You have to be involved, think, and write down your attempts to solve problems.

Knowledge does not come by osmosis. You need to exercise your mind.
3. There are many ways to input things into your mind: use all of them! They include listening, seeing, and working with a pencil and paper. Getting up and walking around also helps. Talk to other students.

4. Do not be afraid to ask for help from other good students and the teacher. Small study groups are a good idea.

5. Pray to God for help. James 1:5 "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching, and it will be given to him." Remember to do your part with effective study and class attendance.
